Never heard of the term Skippy for the Aussies. Is it a Commonwealth term?

We don't take too kindly to being called "Yanks" either, seeing as how I am from south of the Mason and Dixon Line and my ancestors fought the Yankees in the War of Northern Aggression in 1861, aka called the Great Unplesantries of 1861-1865.
