Ah! Killed with the famous Stuart Mclaughlin! A real Para's Para that one! (been told some very good stories of him by a few who knew him). A shame that they survived the battle of Mt.Longdon only to be killed after it had been taken.

Because of "red tape" surrounding a little controversy , Mclaughlin was denied the "rather high" gallantry award that he deserved and was put forward for. Unfortunately, the recommendation never left the hill.
