I've seen this edition a couple of times, and it is very moving. Especially when he finds the plaque with all the names of the Jewish deportees in one building, including his relatives, put up by current occupant.
Another one in a similar vein is about David Baddiel, who travelled to Poland to search for details of an uncle who died in the Warsaw Ghetto.
