Battles aren't a case of everyone staring down each others barrels.
Well dug in , camoflagued and concealed 6 Pdrs in a Bn position would be able to hit the Panzers in the side as the advancing Panzers negotiated the terrain, minefields etc.
A Panzer's flank would be exposed to at least one gun.
