I have a relation who died in the Galloway Hills when his plane crashed in 1945.

He was a Canadian pilot and was from the HMS Premier.

He had flown from Stretton and was heading for Ayr along with another plane. After loosing contact the other plane landed at Wigtown. If this rings any bells with anyone could they please contact me. Or if anyone can tell me the movements of the HMS Premier in 1945 I would be pleased to hear from you.
