After noticing a picture of a StuH in American hands last night I was just reading on a wargamey website (that appears to be working from some sort of rangers war diary??) of 6 captured StuH 42's at Anzio used in an assault on Aprilia:
2nd Battalion Rangers
(love the pic of the FJ wearing Tommy lids on there.)

Anybody know any more? Or if this is pure fantasy?
