Philip, my database should help you out at
Propaganda Leaflets
But a good first indication is the code number that is printed on most leaflets in one of the bottom corners.
If it is just a three digit number it is most likely either a British leaflet from the 1939-41 period, or a Russian-origin leaflet from 1941-42.
Just a four digit number - Russian origin, 1942-1945.
G.??? - British to Germany 1942-45 (F.??? for France, H.???? for Holland, B.??? for Belgium, etc.)
ZG.???, WG.???, XG.??? - Allied (PWD) to Germany and German troops.
USG.??? - American (OWI) to Germany (USF.??? for France, etc.)
That's just a small selection of the most common code numbers.
Leaflets in English, produced by Germany have a wide variety of code number styles.
Hope this helps!?
