| mate, thankyou......a few months is fine.....i would like to know what happened the day he was killed....family legend has it that he was a dispatch rider who rode over a mine....but who knows. i know that it wont go into detail, as with ww1 war diaries i know that other ranks were never usually given a mention by name, does this change with ww2 war diaries?....he was the only casualty for the 5th that day so maybe?
