Absolutly, the big radial means a big fuselage, loads of weight means big wings and tailplane and all that torque gotta mean a big tail, but I betcha its just cos those Yanks like em big!!
Great shot, See the complicated flaps cos of the gull wing and the terrible view over the nose, not great for carrier landings.
Never seen one fly, id love too
