| Thanks Owen for reminding me that I had the history tucked away with corespodence with a friend who served in the Bays. I wrote to him a while back to enquire if he could find out the story of Sgt Sothan being in command of a Churchill. Story and photo on page 6.
What makes in agonising is we watched in horror while the Bays' Shermans were all virtually destroyed during a head on charge towards Coriano Ridge - we did not see a Churchill with them.
