This was on the Beeb yesterday. Great stuff. 'Never too old' - the episode where Jones gets married. They all turned up at the wedding in WW1 uniform, most wearing 'Trios' except Captain Mainwaring, who was miffed to see Sgt. Wilson in his Captains uniform and Jones had a yard of gongs. Pte. Godfrey had another medal, higher precedence that the trio - did anyone recognise it (I'm not a medal/ribbon expert) He served in WW1, as did Frazer, both were discharged wounded.( Arnold Ridley, John Laurie,)
