I have a quick question about stalag 8b. My Grandfather was there. But his records show that he was in Marseilles (ifthe spelling is wrong sorry to the French) and then in Egypt both very early in Feb, I think the 8th of Feb. Then by the end of Feb early March he was in hospital in Durban South Africa.

So my question is, does that not seem early to get out of Stalag 8b and be back in Durban so fast? Maybe he was very sick/injured? But to end up in Marseilles on the 8th of Feb 1945?
