Yeah the Topography of Terror is worth a visit and directly across the road is Goering's old Air Ministry which is worth a visit if only to see what Nazi Architecture was like. I really got a sense of atmosphere inside Templehof Airport. Its style is "very" 1930's.

If you want to see the site of the July 20th plot in Berlin go to Stauffenberg Strasse where the old Wehrmacht Headquarters still stands. There is an exhaustive exhibition about the Resistance to Hitler.

Another place well worth a visit is the War Mueseum in Karlshorst which is sited in Zhukov's old Headquarters. There is a good display of Russian Armor in the Gardens and the exhibitions are fantastic.
