That is most interesting that according to Sakai they - japanese pilots - were not obsessed with ideological stuff, they were just fighting because they can.. And in this case I can believe in it, not in case of nazis that were 'just obeying orders'. Because Sakai were samurai and almost 'build' with Busido ideology from youngest years - he got orders that he just could't obey, that is the difference in european and japanese mind..
