1 Jun 1941 - No. 120 Sqn, RAF Coastal Command, forms at
Nutts Corner, Northern Ireland, with American-built Liberator long-range maritime patrol aircraft. Also, Air Vice-Marshal Arthur Tedder is appointed AOC-in-C of RAF Middle East Command.
