Hi heres the first of many photos and an idea at what me and my lovely wife of 23 years Kimberley have been upto over the past week in France on holiday as promised I'll post as many as I can every evening but am really flat out at work at the moment so don't get in till late....
Well we started out from Coulsdon Surrey where we live and headed for the docks to one of them dilapidated piles they call luxury ferries at P&O for the 5.50am sailing and as per usual we left 15 minutes late so instead of a 60mph cruise I had to hustle the BMW down the M25-M26-M20 at naughty speeds good job the old girl is well looked after as the bavarian 528i SE barge hit its max fully loaded on the straight sections with no traffic around at 4 am which is a good job cos mr plod would have thrown the book at me
After a very smooth crossing and the wife still managing to feel ill we got into Calais at about 9am french time and headed to our normal first stop to stock up on groceries for the evening meal and out picnic at the lovely services at Bay de Somme ( a lesson here to be learned by our services )
we enjoyed our picnic sitting on the grass looking at the Carp and the ducks in this wonderful nature reserve looking out on the marshes......
We then headed south into Rouen and headed down the A roads to avoid the tolls and the motorway hubbub......and down to St Pierre Sur Dives
Cue first photos for 51Highland More to follow later
Bet spidge is getting flustered

It'll be worth mate I promise
