Just read somewhere that after Germany invaded Poland they had run out of ammo and were in an extremely vulnerable position yet the allies did nothing.
Hitler admitting later that germany would've had to "run back with our tails between our legs" had the allies done something about the rhine occupation.
Is this true? I would've thought a country with Germanys capability would have been better prepared at the start of their conquest. I still do.
Anybody else heard this?
