Ron is an early bedder - early riser so we should hear from him at around 05:30 GMT- before he goes walkies - then I shall be in bed !

Tom has nearly got it right
I usually turn in at midnight then am up no later than 5:30 am, when I take my first look at the computer.
Did I see you wondering what I make of the modern world, compared with the one we lived in in wartime ?
A simple way of assessing it would be to use plus & minus prefixes,
+ meaning I approve and
- standing for this p****s me off.
Please accept that the list is in no particular order but is just as my thoughts develop.
- Revisionism
- Vandalism, particularly in cemeteries
- Knife crime
- International terrorism
- Unwarrented bias in Press reports
- People swearing in the street and on public transport, particularly the youngsters.
- The cult of celebrity making which gives no value to whether a person is good or bad but rather how many times his or her name has appeared in the press
- Footballers who celebrate scoring a goal by covering their face with their shirts and running amok on the field
+ The internet
+ Satnav
+ My Ipod Touch (currently holding 9500 of my photos !)
That's enough for now, perhaps others might like to develop this theme ?
Cheers
Ron
