I'm no expert-Far from it I'm affraid. Maybe someone else maybe able to help and steer you in the right direction but I've only ever used CWGC as a resource to those that died.
I had a similiar problem a while back on a memorial in Lewisham and will eventually go down the Local Library route when I get time. The council don't know the info - Which is nothing new really
