Today I received an email from a friend in Israel.
He explained that he attempted to join a WW1 forum but could not log on for some reason or other.

He has asked me if I could post this picture of a large calibre gun with two Australian officers standing nearby.

He would would like to establish the following:

1. When taken.
2. Where taken.
3. Details of the officers.
4. There is a second photograph of a German gun at Mount Carmel. Is
this gun the same one?

I am informed that there was 17 naval guns in the Haifa area.

I realise that this is a tall order, but knowing the expertise on this forum I said I would give it a try.

Regards
Tom
