There's a fair bit about the actions of the units you mention (though not of the 424th I.R. - the 423rd IR of the same division is covered quite well) in a sort of "day by day" account in the excellent Battle of the Bulge- Then and Now by Jean Paul Pallud.

I believe that this volume is almost unrivalled for detail on this battle.
