Hi,

I had a relative that was in the 5th Bn E.Yorks Reg, he died just after DDay. I have serached places like Google for info and found nothing excpet that the 5th was part of the TA. I have found a few books about the East Yorkshire Reg 1939-1945, but it may be a while before i can actually buy them.

The man's name was Harry Harman, does anyone have any information about the 5th Bn? Like what beach they landed on in Normandy and basically their war history?
