I am hoping to stage a wargame and presentation on a 'What If' of the Second World War that my dear old dad was actually in training for: Operation 'Zipper', the British amphibious invasion of Malaya in 1945. The invasion was rendered obsolete by the atomic bombs (a good thing too as some of the landing craft would apparently have ended up stranded on a sand bank). If anyone has access to detailed Orbats/Plans for the proposed operation I'd be very interested. Incidentally the Forgotten Army has up to now been forgotten on this forum as its campaign is not covered in the various 'Around The World' categories!
