I know that a number of books have recently come out covering the D-day drops. Sutton publishing have- Orne Bridgehead, there is also a book called "devils own luck" or something similiar. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you are after.
You could try
www.naval-military-press.com a really good specialist book seller, I think they have a book on the glider pilot regt, though I might be wrong.
Hopefully Ryan/salient points will pick up on this thread and be able to give you some advice, he seems to be a bit of a book expert.
