The tanks of the North Irish Horse (being a unit of an independent Tank Brigade) supported infantry units from several of these countries. Digging into Imperial War Museum archives, thus far has found fifty plus photographs (the majority of actions in Italy) - particularly interesting being those of our Churchills working with the Jewish Brigade and the Cremona Group in their first actions against the Wehrmacht.
Not linked to a specific country are a few of our chaps undergoing instruction how to deploy Churchill bridgelayers - also one of Crocodiles - although some are a little grainy, they will featured in a new article.
