Sergeant Maurice Albert Windham Rogers, 2^nd Bn Wiltshire Regiment. Won VC at Anzio, Italy, 3^rd June 1944. Mentioned in London Gazette on 10^th August 1944. Born Bristol 17^th July 1919, died 3^rd June 1944, Anzio. Buried at the Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio. Died during his VC action at Anzio, but I do not know the specifics. VC now at the Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire & Wiltshire regiment Museum, Salisbury.
