Land Rover's 60th

I see next month it will be 60 years since the Land Rover was unveiled at the Amsterdam Motor Show.
I know it's a bit early but I'm sure there are a few here who wouldn't mind talking Landies.

He sometimes phones up to boast about what really expnsive brand new Landie he's currently pootling about in.

Father-in-law got a 90.
My boys have lots of toy Landies.
I can't afford one.

Went on safari in 2004 at Shamwari near Port Elizabeth S.A. all they would ever buy were Rover Defenders as the others couldn't stand the strain of the bumps and bangs of the terrain - all the others fell apart before 10,000 miles - the Defenders went over 60,000 before they became uneconomical - or a Rhino wanted to fight !
