As our celebrations of VE Day 1945 begin to subside, just taking a moment to Remember those who never made the original celebrations.

To all those Service Personnel and Civilians of all Nations who lost their lives during WW2.

We Will Remember You.

Here Here....

You should never have had to make the sacrifice you all did, but we will be eternally greatful and in your debt for what you have allowed us to have today.

On V-E Day, I remembered courage and sacrifice by rereading Martin Gilbert's superb "The Day the War Ended." A great book on a greater day.
