As some of you know, I write for Your Family Tree magazine which is a UK based magazine for genealogists. The current issue (No 27) is just out which has a long article on tracing your WW2 ancestors plus a large poster describing army, airforce and naval records.

'Biggles' from this forum was able to help with some RAF material (many thanks) and this forum gets a big plug, so hopefully it might bring in a few new members.

paul, had a look at your site,..........TREMENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
as my father was involved ( and wounded )at sicily and italy, with the 2nd cameronians, i was especially interested in your italy diary. sound like an extremely moving experience...
