I served aboard Mauritius from her first commissioning in December '41 until April '44. I received the book at that time but over the years of much (not very careful) handling of it by my four boys it was lost.
Thank you so very much for the offer to send 'The Book' to me when you have finished with it.

Jack Wilde Also found out that the book originally belonged to a Mick "Dixie" Dean, he may have been a Marine, Further investigations, me thinks.
