Stephen is an unknown quantity at this point
A boycott of Israeli goods may be a way of bringing about an end to the occupation of the Palestinians territory. In the case of South Africa though it may not have been the main reason or bringing about political change it probably contributed to a change.

The Palestinians for various reasons are unable to mount a successfull military campaign to bring about Israeli withdrawal. Non of the neighbouring countries is prepared to risk Israeli wrath by providing military assistance or intervening directly in the situation. It must be obvious that it does not take forty years to pack your suitcase and leave if you realy ever intend to leave. It is unlikely that a boycot of Israel will succeed given the pro Israeli bias in the west but there seems to be nothing left to try.
