The last film I tried to watch was 'Stalingrad'. Bought it for a fiver from the local market, then was horrified to discover it jumps continously about half way through. 
Before that it was 'The longest day'.
I still think band of Brothers is one of the best. But that's just my opinion. |
I bought it from the gift shop at The Imperial War museum, I had never heard of it before. Marvellous stuff. Not 'gung ho' at all, the tone at the end is almost apologetic as it looks forward to rebuilding devestated Europe. I'll have to get it back from you sometime, Adam...
