I feel it will be a 'relatively quiet' one this year...next year is of course the 65th and I've heard that a lot of hotels are already full......

Gixersan is an unknown quantity at this point
hello - I am lucky enough to have a friend in our village that was a Pilot in 271 Squadron and flew sorties over Arnhem.
Arthur is not getting around as well as he used too, and I took him to his Squadron Arnhem Reunion this year at Down Ampney. Arthur has never been to Arnhem, and next year I am determined to take him. Can you please advise the dates and any useful information that will help me book the trip.
Many thanks

Gixersan, it is always the 1st weekend after the 17th September. Suggest you start booking hotels now, as with it being the 65th Aniversary, it will be a busy year.

Phil

Or contact the AVC, so he can become a member (Arnhem Veterans Club) and maybe when hotels or full, can be brought to a host family
