![]() | 10th Hussars Does anyone know anything about the Polish 10th Hussars (i think properly spelt Huzars) in WW2? All i know about them is they fought at Falaise and captured something like 5000 prisoners. I'm not sure if these facts are true though. Any more to add? 10th Hussars (in Polish 10 Brygada Kawalerii Pancernej ) in WW2 are known as 1st Armoured Division (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_P...oured_Division) under the command general St. Maczek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maczek). The name took from logo of the division, whereon is visible the symbolical Hussar. I hope that I helped ![]() | |
