Just a quick update on George Kay.
He seems to have recovered from his heart attack and has been discharged from hospital ...........

Well, Paul, you have to understand that BS (interesting abbreviation of his forum moniker) also believes that the United States is in Bulgaria to enslave the Bulgarians.

Attach as much credence to his statements as you feel comfortable with.

Sometimes, however, they are sober at their first deliberation, but in this case they always reconsider the matter under the influence of wine."

Actually i never said that US army have bases in Bulgaria to enslave us, i said that im against those bases, which is actually my opinion and i have a right to have one right?
Im also against the war, as the US president, majority of US, majority of the World, but Slipdigit is from the southern states, maybe a republican, and G.W.Bush supporter, so its kind of normal.

Personal attacks are v dull chaps.

I see Bulgaria was part of the 2003 Coalition:
WHKMLA : List of the Wars of Bulgaria
And Bulgarian casualties in the war occurred, as listed here:
http://iraq.pigstye.net/index.php?topic=bulgaria
So presumably there were injuries as well as those 8 deaths.

As an ex-serviceman with that army Dani, do you think it'd be right if they were treated badly, or not given appropriate assistance on return home, as human beings, & regardless of what one may think of that conflict?

I realise this can be refuted somewhat by certain extreme cases, and references to other wars, but that would be plunging into pretty extreme sophistry in regard to this still-rumbling specific deployment.
Generally, do one's own servicemen not deserve to be treated well?, or at least better than they often get.

You have the right to any opinion you want. You have the right to express it here only as the owner and moderators allow.

Your description of me is mostly on the mark. Thanks for the compliments!

My nation and maybe the whole of the Balkans were under the slavery to the Ottoman empire for 500 years, actually Bulgaria was aways under someone slavery first it was Ottoman then the damn germans then communism and now USA. So i know what to be under someone powers mean. But do i blame those countrys ? No! And whys that? Because when Bulgarians come to the Balkans we killed most of the byzintine population here. Its the rules of the jungle, the stronger wins. England controled the whole world, whys that? Because they could!
