More Bravery

I was thinking about the recent thread on Bravest man of the war and I thought about this brave little man, trying so hard to hold back his tears as he accepts his slain father's flag.

His father had been gone for at least two of this little boy's eight years and now he's gone for the rest of his life.

That's terribly sad Jeff. What a burden for the little guy.
Rest easy soldier.

Thanx for sharing Jeff. You can't help but feel sorry for the little fella. One can only hope that time will be a great healer.

This picture made me think, transfer it back 30 years it could be a ceremony for a Vietnam casualty..... what happened to all those grieving kids that are now in their 30's and 40's, I bet a lot of them went completely off the rails, and for what?

Oh we did get the Rambo films I suppose.......

Very very sad image

Heart-rending image, reminds us that the soldiers and Marines aren't the only ones who risk it all for our safety and freedom. May God bless this family and grant them peace.

Heart rending indeed Nolan.

His father would be proud of his son as I think we all are.
