English people - do u like Mr. Bean?

Hey every English!

Hope all english people know Mr. Bean wich is played by Rowan Atkinson. Do u like Mr. Bean? Or even do u like Rowan Atkinson like an actor?
I am asking this question because here in Russia his character Mr. Bean or even Rowan himself (for example in movie 'Keeping mum') is embodiment of pure english sense of humor - sometimes strange, sometimes fun like hell and evertime unsual.
For me - Rowan is an actor out of row - alwasy very unsual and funny, I like all Mr. Bean series and all his roles in cinema like Agent Johnny English or Keeping Mum, I have always lough out of loud when was wathcing his movies.

I don't know about any 'hidden meaning' but I love Mr Bean. Room .247 was one of my favourite episodes. He's an absolute classic.

I hate Mr Bean, it is now a term of abuse/paradoy of anyone who is slighty wimpish or nerdy.
BlackAdder was funny but I HATE the WW1 series, it was crap.

Because it seems the same in here and there that everyone don't like much things that became a embodiment of their country outside its borders, like here we hate when foreigners ask us 'hey do u like or play or have balalaika?' or 'is it true that on ur streets is walking tame bears?' or 'do u drink vodka everyday?' - have sadly to say that this is very common questions.

For me Rowan is very unusual artist. By his ability make viewer to laugh I can compare him to Jim Carrey in Hollywood.
