![]() ![]() ![]() | Gnomey - fantastic photo's - on the trip up Table Mountain I thoght the way the car rotated 360 degrees added to that trip - and the Island of course in the Bay is Robben's Island - where Nelson Mandel spent much of his time in jail ! pity you missed Shamwari near Port Elizabeth - it's also a great reserve Cheers |

![]() | Yes Tom that was a good feature it adds a lot to the experience although I would of rather have walked up didn't really have the time. Yeah I didn't have time for everything. Going to go back a third time and do the Garden Route with a friend from Stellenbosch (if it all pans out) so maybe I'll do it then.

Rabbi Hillel circa 30 BCE I was "Called-up" in Oct 1942Served as a Wireless-Op with the 49th LAA (78 Div) from Apr 1943 to Dec 1944 (North Africa,Sicily,Italy, Egypt). The Regiment was disbanded in Dec 1944 and I was retrained (in Italy) by the Royal Armoured Corps. Served as a Loader-Op with the 4th QOH from Mar 1945 to Jan 1946 (Italy, Austria, Germany) Finished up as Tech Cpl for "A" Sqdrn. I was "De-mobbed" in Apr 1947 |

![]() | Cheers Gage, I got a new camera for my 21st this year which I received at the beginning of the year (before I went away). I use a Canon EOS 400D with either an 18-55mm or a 55-250mm IS (both Canon lenses) and sometimes with a polariser and sometime without (most of the 2nd post is with the polariser).
