Gnomey -
fantastic photo's - on the trip up Table Mountain I thoght the way the car rotated 360 degrees added to that trip - and the Island of course in the Bay is Robben's Island - where Nelson Mandel spent much of his time in jail !
pity you missed Shamwari near Port Elizabeth - it's also a great reserve
Cheers

Yes Tom that was a good feature it adds a lot to the experience although I would of rather have walked up didn't really have the time.

Yeah I didn't have time for everything. Going to go back a third time and do the Garden Route with a friend from Stellenbosch (if it all pans out) so maybe I'll do it then.

What camera are you using if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers Gage, I got a new camera for my 21st this year which I received at the beginning of the year (before I went away). I use a Canon EOS 400D with either an 18-55mm or a 55-250mm IS (both Canon lenses) and sometimes with a polariser and sometime without (most of the 2nd post is with the polariser).

Nice pics man, thanks for posting. Cape town is my home town. You will love the garden route. My US wife loved it - knysna and Augulas. I also love the West Coast though. Cheers.
