Lovely Gerry - I was looking an original of some of these at War & Peace the other day, but sadly the guy wanted too much money for it.

Priceless, timeless humour.

Re: The Two Types - Italy

This one is in:

I have the companion booklet of these delightful characters doing their thing in North Africa. Both purchased in Italy for the magnificent sum of 1/- each!

Having ascetained that no copyright restrictions existed on them I was in the process of scanning just before my wife went into hospital. They are now buried in a completely full 20 x 8 shipping container.

The few scanned thus far will be posted - on my return from Bali next spring I will finish the job.

Unfortunately I cannot recall what passed betwen the two as they were atop the Churchill Mark V - that too will come to light eventually.

You still after one, Paul? Got a spare rotting away on a bookshelf at my dad's house if interested.

Couple of beers next time we meet?

The version I've got is the one bought in Italy for 20Lire and also describes some of the history of "The Two Types" and some of the influences, etc.

I'll post it to you on my return to Blighty in about 3 weeks.

Paul,

I have two of one of them - but just cannot recall which. If Dave's copy is not my duplicate I will send it to you on my return from Bali.
