Prince won't allow his stuff to be on You Tube so here's a cover of Alphabet Street.
It's been in my head ever since Saturday when my friends said they want to go to Dublin to see him.

Just found a WW2 link between my post # 467 and posts #469, #472.
In Keith Emerson's biography ( can't find it at mo, so this is from memory) he described how he would, on stage, push knives into his Hammond keyboard to hold down the notes. Lemmy, who was one of his roadies at the time: 'If you're gonna use a knife, use a proper F***ing knife', and presented him with two 'Hitler Youth' daggers for use on stage.

I'd love to see more of Lemmy's Militaria collection, only ever glimpsed it in the background of interviews and it looks rather substantial. I read an article a while back that he also bought a reasonably substantial collection from Ozzy Osbourne, no idea of the truth of that.

Today, I have mostly been listenin' to... A lot of Black sabbath.

I prefer Flatt and Scruggs' version, though. More banjo.

Thanks for the link Owen, amazing stuff. Canada does seem to have more that its fair share of musical talent.
