Proud Dad

Just got home from my daughters University (RMIT University) graduation night.

She was one of 5,400 graduates who received their degree in front of 30,000 proud family and friends with a great deal of pomp and pageantry.

Airlie's application to her former college has also been successful so she only has to travel 2 minutes to work.

No. We were in the audience and they were on the covered pitch of our little (55,000 people) covered all weather football stadium in Melbourne.

Possibly parents who did not have the opportunity, ensuring their children do.

Things were tough in the 50's & 60's and many parents could not afford to get their children through to year 12 yet alone University.

Children of that generation are giving their offspring every chance to realise their ambitions.

Geoff thats fantastic!!! You must be quite the proud dad. I hope that this is the springboard for a long and happy career for her. You should now kick back with a pint of VB or Castlemaine for a job well done!!
