screamingeagle is an unknown quantity at this point
i visited auschwitz in the winter of 2004, and it was such an eye opening experience... espeically visiting the birkenau part of the camp, with is so large that its difficult even to see the end of the camp when you are standing in one corner of it... sad, what some human beings can do to others...

Does anybody know a good site where I can book a cheap trip to Auschwitz including travel and accommodation?

Just spent the last hour or so googling different sites and got no where.
Any help would be appreciated.

many thanx,
marcus

Gibbo will become famous soon enough
Easy Jet flies from several UK airports to Krakow & you can get a train from Krakow to Oswiecim. Auschwitz was the German name for the Polish town of Oswiecim; the Poles now use the German name for the death camp & the Polish one for the town.

Cheers Gibbo. Never knew it was the german name for Oswiecim. That might explain a few things. Lol.
