can anyone advise me please where i would find info on this as my father done national service he lived in luton beds where can i find out his service record .appreciate any help

What sort of infomation are you looking for?

his regimental number?his unit anything to link me with his service.

maggie all you can do is contact the armed forces record office with as much information as you an get together in order to get his service records.
If you have little to no information to go on then do you have any photos of him in uniform that you can post here, so we can maybe identify regiment?
