![]() | The plot thickens! good that you stumbled on the info though I'm sure it will all be clear soon enough ![]() If he landed near Arromanches that narrows it most likely to Gold Beach, that said that is assuming he was meant to land there as many were off course and landed in areas they were not meant to. According to the order of battle the 75th Pioneer Company (maybe relevant) was detailed for Gold Beach as part of the Beach Group (104th Beach Sub Area). However, I am not sure of the timeline for the order of battle I have, that is to say whether it is all 24hours of 6th June or simply the initial assault so we may be missing something here.
