Travelled to Dieppe this weekend on a social/history type visit with friends. Invetsigating as I would I asked in a gunshop if they knew of any relics etc. A young guy (well my age 35- 40) who spoke English as good as I do French invited me to see his collection. I expected a few odds and sods but was I in for a surprise - this guy had n more than I'd seen in the UK Imperial War Museum when it came to uniforms etc!

he hada dozen all original SS Uniforms and equipment, 20 -30 other unifroms (including a full BoB Squadron Leaders) 20 - 30 guns including MP 44, MG 42, Kar 98 sniper, two MP 40's and a Gewher (?) 43 all in very good order, he said most of it he'd collected and been given in France!

Theres' still stuff out there guy's!
