![]() | last WWII movie I watched was Saints and Soldiers. A fictional account of some GIs who escaped the Malmedy massacre and were trying to get back to the lines without meeting up with the Germans. 7/10

![]() ![]() | Cant remeber the name, i think it was called 'The Camp'. Rubbish name for a pretty decent film. About life inside a Japanese Prison camp and the efforts of the US rangers to rescue them. Recomended 7.5/10. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Never heard of it before... been missing a treat. "The True Glory", great stuff. Oscar winning contemporary feature length documentary compiled from the work of combat photography teams covering the build up to victory in the west. With an introduction and production advice from Ike himself. On an IWM disc with 4 other feature length documentaries: 'From Italy to D-Day', 'From D-Day to Paris', 'From Paris to the Rhine' & 'From the Rhine to victory'. Interesting insight into contemporary feelings about the war and it's aims. (Thanks Bod )Cheers, Adam.

The last film I tried to watch was 'Stalingrad'. Bought it for a fiver from the local market, then was horrified to discover it jumps continously about half way through. Before that it was 'The longest day'. I still think band of Brothers is one of the best. But that's just my opinion. | |
