The "is this book a good read?" thread

Just an idea to share our reading experiences and maybe help prevent fellow members from impulsively buying a book that isn't that great. For example, Kyt's India abysmal India reprint in a following thread.

Here's what I'm umming and ahing about!

Amazon.com: America's Fighting Admirals: Winning the War at Sea in World War II: Books: William Tuohy,Steve Gansen

Looks good to me. Anyone read it?

I bought it anyway! It arrived in the mail last week and is pretty impressive of the little bits I've flicked through. We'll see...

If anyone wants to read what war is about, thyen Assault Division By Scarfe is a genuine one written by a man that took part.
