![]() | "Together We Stand-North Africa 42-43" by James Holland Hi, Can anyone recommend this book about the Desert War ? Amazon.co.uk: Together We Stand: North Africa 1942-1943, Turning the Tide in the West (Mediterranean War 2): Amazon.co.uk:: James Holland I would like to get a general overview type book (I am keen on the KRRC really) and was wondering what to get. The IWM does a Desert War one as well which may be good if anyone knows that one ? Many Thanks Rob |

![]() ![]() | I am reading 'An army at Dawn' by Rick Atkinson, after a recomendation here. The Author is American and the book is from an American point of view and covers mostly Tunisia and Torch. Its quite well written and manages to that latest trick of making exiting to read but from a strategic point of view. I think I Spotted a few silly mistakes in it for instance it talks about Rubbish British tanks Valantine tanks with 2 pounder guns. I can recomend. Kev |
