History Channel DVD on Monte Cassino

I watched a movie the other day at a friend's house on the History Channel.
The Movie was one of the Evidence of History series and covered the battles for Cassino, my old stamping ground.

My friend was unable to "save" the program and I have spent a frustrating few days trying to buy the DVD iteself as although I have seen sites that will sell the program they will not ship to the UK.

Any help please ?

Thanks

Ron

Just double checking Ron,
Is this the right programme? :
Lost Evidence: Monte Cassino - showing on The History Channel
I haven't checked too deeply as I'm not sure I have the right programme, but this one does appear to only be available as a DVDR, burnt off on demand, or as a download. Presumably as it's rather recent.

Someone has uploaded it to Youtube in 5 parts...
YouTube - Lost Evidence : " Monte Cassino " 1 of 5

Cheers,
Adam.

Adam

Many thanks, that is indeed the very film/dvd and I would still like to be able to buy it..

After getting the disappointing news that I couldn't buy the DVD from the US (plus Peter G warning me in an e-mail that even if I bought it, I might have dificulty in running it) I tried to download it using a downloader called Torrent but it was taking forever and a day.

I then found another downloader site but this one wanted me to sign up for three porn sites !

Thanks a lot for ID-ing it for me, whats the chances of pointing me in the right direction to actually buy a copy that I can actually run ?

Cheers

Ron

Dug deeper now Ron, and I'm afraid it does look like that version supplied only to USA & Canada is indeed the only 'official' one. And as even that appears to be a burnt on demand DVDR that is liable to be the wrong region for your DVD player there truly is a chance it wouldn't work anyway even if they shipped here.
Most all of the sites it's available for download are ones I wouldn't touch with a barge-pole so I fear the somewhat naughty Youtube upload may be the only accessible source.

The programmes link does say it will be repeated soon:

Lost Evidence: Monte Cassino

Wed March 19th at 12:00pm
Might be best to get it taped or DVD'd then?

Cheers,
Adam.

Mark Hone is on a distinguished road
Did the Daily Telegraph include it as one of their 'giveaway' episodes of that series? I did send off for them but they're in the World War II section of my DVD library at school and we're on half-term. I'm trying to remember which episodes were included-certainly Arnhem and Battle of Britain, can't remember Cassino.
