Thumbs up R4 Excess Baggage - US WW2 Veteran

BBC Radio 4's travel programme, Excess Baggage, this morning featured a new travel book on which a British travel writer took a WW2 US Veteran back to the places where he fought in 1944-45. The veteran was Putnam Flint, who fought with "824th Panther Tank busters unit."
